How soon should we book our wedding photographer?

The sooner the better. At Michael Casey Photography we only shoot one wedding per day so book as soon as possible to secure your wedding date in our diary and avoid disappointment.

Do we need to make out a list of the photos we would like to have taken on the day?
This isn’t necessary. We have been photographing weddings for over 20 years and know the sequence of photographs to be taken so well it has become second nature to us. However, if you have a specific photograph that you would like taken, please discuss this with us beforehand and we will do our best to oblige.

What areas do you cover?

Based in Marshfield we are ideally situated for wedding photography in Cardiff, Newport, Barry, Penarth, Caerphilly, Dinas Powys, Cowbridge and all of the South Wales Valleys. However, we regularly photograph weddings outside of these areas. Please ring for further details.

How do we get to see the photos and make our choices for our album?

After the wedding all the images will be loaded on to a special password-protected area of our web site so that you can view them at leisure with your family and friends and select your favourites for your album. There is also a shopping cart facility for family and friends to purchase copies online at discounted prices (conditions apply).

Why is your designer range so much more expensive than your other ranges?
With our designer range you can select a lot more images than with the other ranges and each page is individually designed. You choose the images, the number of images per page, the shape and size of each image. The range of overlays is stunning and you can select up to nine images per page. The result is breathtakingly individual.

We attended a friend’s wedding recently but the photographer took so long to set up the photos that it spoiled the day. The bride and groom had no time to socialise with their guests and we don’t want this to happen at our wedding!
Rest assured that it will not happen if you book us. We pride ourselves on being swift, efficient, unobtrusive and professional whilst getting the most fantastic images for your wedding album.

My parents are divorced and both are with new partners. How will you cope with this sensitive issue for the family photographs?
This is not unusual these days and with tact and diplomacy the issue can be easily resolved. By discussing any concerns with us beforehand we can agree between us the best way to handle the situation. The most important thing is that you discuss any worries you may have with us. We are here to assist you and your families on your special day.

What if it rains on our Wedding day?

The one thing you cannot control is the weather! Our advice would be not to allow bad weather to spoil your day. We are used to photographing weddings all year round and in every weather condition from brilliant sunshine to howling gales and even snow. Yet we have never failed to provide a fabulous result.
